Pastor Rob’s prayer
Pastor Rob's Call to Prayer
Based on Ephesians 3:14–21
For this reason, we kneel before you,
Father, the one from whom every nation, every family,
and every person on earth receives their name.
We pray today, not just for ourselves,
but for our world in turmoil
.We pray for leaders, not only those in our city but across the nations.
In this moment of rising tension, conflict, and war,
we ask that you would turn hearts toward peace,
justice, and humility.
Redirect the powerful according to your will.
We pray for the marginalized:
those forgotten, oppressed, displaced, or unheard.
Be near to the vulnerable. Defend the defenseless.
Raise up your church to respond not with fear,
but with compassion and self-control.
We pray for ourselves, Lord, that out of your glorious riches
you would strengthen us with power through your Spirit in our inner being,
so that Christ may dwell in our hearts through faith.
Make us a people who are rooted and established in love,
not in fear, not in ideology, and not in self-perception.
Give us power, together with all your people around the world,
to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ
A love big enough for enemies, neighbors, and strangers alike.
To you be the glory in the global church and in Christ Jesus
throughout all generations, forever and ever.
Amen
