OUR MISSION

We're here to help people
become fully engaged IN CHRIST
AT CHURCH and ON MISSION

WE’RE HERE TO HELP

"How can I help?" is one of the most powerful questions we can ask in any relationship. Whether you're still figuring out where you stand with Jesus or you've been following Him for most of your life, we want to help.

Jesus did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

Matt. 20:28

BECOME FULLY ENGAGED

In the way that a fully engaged engine has many parts connected and designed to perform a specific function, every human life is intended to be united with Jesus, His people, and equipped for His purposes. At Eastern Hills we provide onramps to help you discover, deepen and duplicate a faith in Christ with others.

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.”

Psalm 139:13

IN CHRIST

A relationship that thrives is one in which discovery is constant. Our life is in continual refinement as the Holy Spirit and the Word of God transforms us from the inside out. Like most churches, we celebrate the "first decisions," showing up to service, transferring allegiance to Jesus, and baptism. Still, we're also a church that celebrates choosing to follow Jesus every day after the "first decisions."

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

2 Corinthians 5:17

AT CHURCH

Many companies and organizations are embracing the slogan, "We are better together." This isn't something new. For generations humanity has longed to be community with one another. God not only chose to wire us in such way to crave community but He also chose to reach the world through community. Jesus said he would build His church through a movement, a gathering of people, the local church. We want to care for you and help you care for others.

Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.

Galatians 6:2

ON MISSION

Can you imagine the impact of a movement of people committed to love, grace, mercy, hope, joy, patience, kindness, gentleness, forgiveness, and self-control? I think we can agree that any community with that level of commitment would be transformed. Our desire is that those who call EHBC home make an impact locally and globally.

”Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Matthew 28:19-20
